Why the 2 Tier Fallow & Mule Deer Antler Chandelier Fits Large Rooms
The two-tier build gives the 2 Tier Fallow & Mule Deer Antler Chandelier much more visual presence than a single-tier fixture, which is why it works so well over a large dining table, in a grand entryway, or beneath a vaulted great room ceiling. It ships fully wired with eight or twelve light fixtures, and you can choose 25, 40, or 60 watt bulbs depending on how much brightness the room calls for, in either warm 2700K or cool white 3000K color temperatures.
Like every fixture we build, it’s UL certified under File E238337 for both the US and Canada, so it installs like any standard hardwired ceiling fixture with no special wiring required, and every bulb is fully dimmable.
Because it hangs 32″-38″ tall from its mounting point, it’s worth measuring your ceiling height and table clearance before ordering. A vaulted ceiling or a two-story entryway gives this chandelier room to breathe, letting the full spread of both antler tiers show rather than crowding it into a low-ceilinged space designed for a smaller fixture.
How the 2 Tier Fallow & Mule Deer Antler Chandelier Is Handcrafted
Every piece starts with naturally shed European fallow deer and mule deer antlers, hand-selected for size and shape before they’re fitted together into the finished two-tier frame. Every antler piece is real, naturally shed, ethically sourced material, assembled by hand in the workshop. Socket covers are resin as standard – producing them from genuine antler would mean cutting into an additional elk or large mule deer antler and wasting much of it for a part that is barely visible once installed. Real-antler socket covers are available as a $45-per-cover upgrade for customers who want every detail in genuine antler.
Choose a natural finish for the warm, richly mottled color the antler grows in, or bleached white for a lighter look that suits contemporary interiors. Add rawhide shades over each light for $25 per shade if you’d like to soften the glow further, a nice option for a formal dining room or entryway.
Because every antler is a little different, no two of these chandeliers are ever perfectly identical, which is part of what makes a real fallow deer antler chandelier feel handmade rather than mass-produced off a shelf. Many of our clients pair this piece with rustic, lodge-style, or modern farmhouse interiors, though its natural material and warm tones work just as well as a statement piece in a more traditional or transitional room.
If you’d like a more compact profile in the same style, browse our full chandelier collection, including the single-tier Glacier Single Tier Fallow Antler Chandelier, to see the full range of sizes we offer.
Real antler is a natural material, so a little care keeps it looking its best for years. Dust it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth or a can of compressed air to reach between the tines, and keep it away from direct steam or constant high humidity, such as a shower stall or a stovetop.
With basic care, a 2 tier fallow and mule deer antler chandelier like this one is built to last – a large-scale, two-tier piece with the same handcrafted, one-of-a-kind character as our biggest antler fixtures. Each one is individually handcrafted in the USA, so slight variations in antler shape and color are normal and expected. We ship anywhere in the US and to many other countries, and we’re happy to help you select the right size and finish for your room.
