Why the Glacier Fits Great Rooms and Vaulted Ceilings

At 42″-52″ in diameter and 25″-28″ tall, this chandelier suits rooms in the 20-26 foot range using the length-plus-width formula from our size guide – a good match for a great room, a large dining table, or a vaulted entryway. It ships fully wired with eight light fixtures generating up to 480 watts of light, available in warm 2700K or cool white 3000K bulbs.

Chain length is adjustable at 6, 10, or 20 feet, so the same fixture works in a standard 8-foot room or a soaring two-story great room. Like every fixture we build, it’s UL certified under File E238337 for both the US and Canada.

How the Fallow Antler Design Is Handcrafted

Every piece is built from genuine fallow deer antler, prized for its broad, palmated shape – flattened and paddle-like rather than the rounder, branching form of elk or whitetail antler. That distinctive shape is what gives this chandelier its moose-like read without the weight and light-blocking density of true moose antler.

Because fallow antler availability varies from batch to batch, no two of these chandeliers are ever perfectly identical – part of what makes a real antler piece feel like a genuine, handmade centerpiece. Choose a Natural finish for the warm tone the antler grows in, or Bleached White for a lighter look that suits contemporary interiors.

Add fabric shades over each of the eight lights for a softer, more diffused glow, or skip them for a bolder look that lets the antler silhouette and light do the talking. Either way, the palmated form of the antler casts a distinctive shadow pattern that a rounder antler design simply can’t reproduce.

At 42″-52″ across, plan for at least 30″ of clearance on every side, and remember the adjustable chain means this fixture works from standard 8-foot ceilings up through two-story great rooms without any custom modification.

Real antler is a natural material, so a little care keeps it looking its best for years. Dust it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth or a can of compressed air to reach between the tines, and avoid harsh chemical cleaners directly on the antler.
