The Gallatin Elk & Mule Deer Antler Chandelier is a handcrafted, large-format lighting fixture built for great rooms, large entryways, and lodges with the ceiling height to match its scale.

This large-format design is named after Montana’s Gallatin Valley, and it combines extra-large naturally shed elk antlers with four large mule deer antlers woven into a single fourteen-light frame. At 36″-48″ in diameter and 36″-40″ tall, it’s one of the largest pieces we build, sized for rooms where a smaller fixture would disappear.

Because it pairs two antler species in one design, this piece has a fuller, wilder silhouette than a single-species chandelier of the same size, which is why it reads as a true centerpiece in a great room, a two-story entryway, or a lodge with exposed beams. It ships fully wired with fourteen light fixtures, and you can choose 25, 40, or 60 watt bulbs depending on how much brightness the room calls for, in either warm 2700K or cool white 3000K color temperatures.

Like every fixture we build, it’s UL certified under File E238337 for both the US and Canada, so it installs like any standard hardwired ceiling fixture with no special wiring required, and every bulb is fully dimmable.

Because it hangs 36″-40″ tall and spans up to 48″ across, it’s worth measuring your ceiling height and the room’s floor space before ordering. A vaulted ceiling or a large open floor plan gives the gallatin mule deer and elk antlers room to spread fully, rather than crowding a design built for wide open spaces into a smaller room.

Every piece starts with naturally shed elk antlers and mule deer antlers, hand-selected for size and shape before they’re woven together into the finished frame. Nothing is cast or molded to imitate antler – every piece is real, naturally shed or sustainably sourced material, assembled by hand in the workshop.

Choose a natural finish for the warm, richly mottled color the antler grows in, or bleached white for a lighter look that suits contemporary interiors. Add fabric shades over each of the fourteen lights for $30 per shade if you’d like to soften the glow further, a popular option for a formal dining room or great room.

Because every antler is a little different, no two of these chandeliers are ever perfectly identical, which is part of what gives a real elk and mule deer antler chandelier its one-of-a-kind, handmade character rather than a mass-produced look. Real antler is a natural material, so a little care keeps it looking its best for years. Dust it occasionally with a soft, dry cloth or a can of compressed air to reach between the tines, and keep it away from direct steam or constant high humidity, such as a shower stall or a stovetop.
