A Whitetail Chandelier From a Customer’s Own Antlers, Inspired by Our 6-Tier Design

Starting From a Design He Loved

The customer came to us wanting a chandelier like our 6 Tier Whitetail. He also had his own collection of naturally shed whitetail antler and wanted his sheds to be what made it. He shipped his antler to us, and we got to work.

Built by Hand, With Mock-Ups Along the Way

Dante built the chandelier by hand. As it came together, he sent the customer mock-up photos so he could see the tiers, balance and scale take shape.

Going a Little Bigger

As the chandelier neared completion, the customer decided he wanted it a little bigger. His own antler had run out. At his request, Dante added antler from our own stock, and the cost of that antler was added to the final price. Each added antler was marked with green tape so he could see and approve exactly what came from our stock. The finished piece is built mostly from his own sheds, at the scale he wanted.

The Finished Chandelier

The completed chandelier uses about 80 to 86 whitetail antlers. The customer was happy with its look, balance and size. It is still a centerpiece of his home today.

What if I don’t have enough antler?

We can add antler from our own stock to reach the size you want. The cost of the added antler is included in your price, and we only add it with your go-ahead.

How many antlers does a large chandelier take?

This 56″ six-tier chandelier used about 80 to 86 whitetail antlers. Smaller whitetail designs need far fewer. For example, our 8-light rectangular yoke chandelier used about 36.

How heavy is a large antler chandelier?

This one weighs about 100 lbs. A fixture this heavy needs a ceiling box and support rated for its weight, so have a licensed electrician confirm your mounting before installation.
