Trade Account Terms

These terms apply to trade accounts on antlerchandeliers.com. They are agreed once at registration rather than negotiated on each order.

1. Eligibility. Trade accounts are open to businesses that specify or resell lighting — interior designers, decorators, architects, builders, general contractors, stagers, and hospitality or restaurant groups. We verify each application against a business tax ID and a website or portfolio. We may decline or close an account at our discretion.

2. Trade pricing. Approved accounts receive our trade discount off the listed price of every product, including options such as shades, real antler socket covers, white antler and steel backplates, applied automatically when signed in. Single large-volume orders earn a larger volume discount, at the threshold shown in your trade account. Accounts that surpass the volume threshold annually, and retail trade partners who place a qualifying order, earn that discount on everything for the following 12 months; we review accounts quarterly and apply this ourselves. The volume discount is the maximum trade discount we offer. The minimum trade order is $500 before freight and tax. Freight is charged in full and is not discounted. Trade pricing does not combine with sale prices or promotional codes.

3. Confidentiality. Trade pricing is for your business. It is not to be published, shared, or presented to an end client as our retail price.

4. Payment. Catalogue items ordered online are paid in full at checkout. Custom and multi-unit projects require a 50% deposit to begin work, with the balance plus freight due on completion, prior to shipping.

5. Lead times. Build time runs from approved drawing and cleared payment terms, not from first enquiry. We will hold a production slot against a confirmed install date where we can. Lead times are estimates made in good faith; we will tell you promptly if one moves.

6. Custom orders are non-cancellable. Once antler selection has begun for your piece, a custom order cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded. It is built for one room and cannot be resold. We will tell you when selection is due to start.

7. Changes. Any change after drawing approval is quoted as a change order and requires written approval. Lead time restarts from the date the change is approved.

8. Natural material variance. Antler is an organic material. Colour, tine count, curvature and overall proportion vary from piece to piece and from photography, and finished dimensions fall within the ranges published rather than at a fixed figure. This variation is the nature of the product, not a defect, and is not grounds for return. Please set this expectation with your client before delivery.

9. Sourcing. The antler we source is naturally shed. Antler supplied by a client for a custom build is whatever the client provides, and we make no representation about its origin.

10. UL listing. Our chandeliers, pendants and wall sconces are UL listed under File E238337 for the United States and Canada, custom builds included. They are rated for dry locations. Four lamps and four candelabras in our range are wired but are not covered by that file; they are sold for residential use and should not be specified where a listed fixture is required.

11. Freight. Freight is quoted per piece and is not discounted. Larger fixtures ship crated by freight carrier. Title and risk pass on delivery to the address you give us.

12. Damage in transit. Inspect on arrival. Report any damage within 5 business days of delivery with photographs of the crate taken before it is disposed of. We cannot pursue a carrier claim without them.

13. Returns. Catalogue items in original condition and packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery, less return freight. Custom pieces, and any piece with a selected option, are not returnable — see clause 6.

14. Tax exemption. Available with a valid resale certificate, one per state you purchase into. You are responsible for keeping certificates current.

15. Photography. You may use our product photography in client presentations and proposals. We may photograph and publish a piece we built once it is installed, crediting your firm. Tell us if a particular project is confidential and we will leave it alone.

16. Your account. Sign-in details are for your business. Tell us if someone leaves and we will reset access.
